NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Budget Officer for the Southeastern Wayne Sanitary District submitted a proposed Operating Budget in the amount of $4,072,150.00 and a proposed Sewer Operating Budget in the amount of $718,500.00 for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2025, and ending June 30, 2026, to the Southeastern Wayne Sanitary District Board at its meeting on Thursday, May 22, 2025. The proposed Budgets include recommended increases in water and sewer rates as well as tap fees. A public hearing will be held on the proposed Budgets as required by NCGS 159-12(b) at the next regular meeting of the Board on Thursday, June 19, 2025, at 12:00 o'clock noon at the office of Wayne Water Districts, 3600 Commercial Drive, Goldsboro, North Carolina. Anyone interested in looking at the proposed Budgets prior to the hearing may do so at the Wayne Water Districts Office during regular office hours.
